HAPPY FRIDAY. This week was the stupidest. My mood was awful, work was a shitshow, I felt like an awful manager all week long for reasons that I intellectually believe are out of my control, my husband’s unemployment kind of hit the point of being high-stress for both of us, money felt out of control, and I was just so high-stress. Meh. BUT on the other hand I came to an agreement with the buyers of my old house for a relatively small credit for the issues they found during the inspection, so I think we’ve cleared the most dangerous hurdle and hopefully my March check-in will show that house being actually sold, finally. WOOO.

Anyway. Tonight my dude is hanging out with friends so I get some alone time. I plan to get a haircut on the way home ($25 including tip), grab some groceries and some kind of treat for dinner at Publix ($50), and head home for reading, puppy snuggles, and a bubble bath because this week, it was dumb.

Saturday my dude and I will head into town for our annual tradition of buying about $35 worth of fancy chocolates together. Then it’s back home to sit through some conference calls. Sunday, we’ll take a short canoe trip in the morning and I’ll go to choir in the evening.
