A fit or a misfit?

There are a plenty of people out there who match their outfit with the place they are visiting to make the picture look more beautiful and artistic.
Well, being a misfit who wears over sized sweat shirt against a beautiful background is not easy, especially in this pool of people.

But, but, but, it is not very tough for me either.
I went to one of those schools which was attended by all those rich and fancy kids. Kids who had some sort of natural style.
And, there I was.
Fat girl with a moustache! 😂

I did a number of things to 'fit-in'.
From listening to those English songs (which I am still not a fan of) to picking up the lingo. You name it and I must have done it.

I was 16 and didn't want to be the lonely kid in the cafeteria, but, still ended up being one. If any of my classmates are reading this, I know I was the weird one and some of you didn't even feel like talking to me.
But, within an year, something changed.
I was still the socially awkward and weird kid.
But, I couldn't care less about fitting in.
It was liberating.
To not care about the moustache or fancy kids.
To embrace myself and believing in the person I was.

Trust me, with that, college was like a breeze!
Hence, I think being a 'misfit' doesn't really bother me anymore. Sure, I am a human and it does affect me sometimes. Not for long though.

Hence, here is a picture where I embrace myself and proudly present the 'misfit me' who is just unapologetic about it now.
