Perhaps, my wording is inaccurate.
I’m not proposing that “not caring” is to actively work against someone… it’s to NOT be seen as a threat when no threat exists (i.e. not deserving of immediate attention.)
What I’m asking is: why does the OP feel that injustice against blacks should be granted more attention among the various types of human injustices?
Whenever another non-black person is treated unfairly, even with undue cruelty, it is a rare thing that their ethnic community decides to riot or create a high level of civil unrest. With black injustices, every event is a potential riot trigger — even before legal action is taken.
Doesn’t help our cause… EVER.
Black victims are made saintly martyrs before any evidence is obtained. Often witness accounts are contradictory and no one knows what really happened except the victim and the police — which puts every against one another and not serving the rule of law.
Self policing is the best policy to gain just treatment by outsiders. Demonstrating a positive sense of self worth and permeating that through your personal and public circles. That’s it.
