Every Single Morning of a Developer

I am a girl who is working at one of fintech company somewhere in Asia as software engineer. I develop mobile app.

As a developer who is currently working daily, waking up daily is something that I don’t like, especially if it needs to be early in the morning. But that is an excuse to be lazy. Girl can be lazy too. But again, that’s what I need to do every single morning. Wake up.

Rise and shine, they said. If only I could stay at home and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate, that would be very nice , I thought so. But that’s not gonna make me achieve anything today. That means I contribute nothing to society, to better tech, better life of many people, I am selfish to think of my own happiness as a person and not make use of my skills to help others — besides, I get paid. That kind of thought makes me rise from my bed and go to work, every single morning.

Whatever I do, at least I should be responsible, as a developer, a girl, a person, a part of society to make a better place.
