Man opens Grab app without any popups appearing

A local man was left mystified after he managed to open the popular taxi hailing app “Grab” without a large number of popup windows appearing.

“I just wanted to catch a ride from Siam Paragon back to my house so I opened the app”, commented Nui. Instead of the usual cavalcade of messages about discounts at Auntie Anne’s Pretzels, a coupon for Grab Plus, and another discount at Auntie Anne’s Pretzels, Nui was confronted with a simple map screen.

“I was so shocked I immediately closed the app and looked for a taxi instead”.

Luckily for Nui, this story has a happy ending, as things returned to normal after he restarted the app.
