If there was a good example of procrastination, then last night would be a good one of me not actually typing this post.
I’d thought about the content pretty much all day, and when it came to actually typing the words out … nothing.
To be fair, I had done a full-body-workout in the evening and ate dinner/tea late-ish. Also, the new Philips Hue lights seem to help feeling sleepy before bed.
As I couldn’t focus on one topic for the 2nd of my 32 posts, here’s a quick selection of what I thought about …
I received various things for the day of my birth ranging from money and Steam gift cards to a Philips Hue Starter Kit, Darth Vader Lego figure, a bottle of Jack Daniels, and some other little pressies which I can’t mention yet.
Today’s “boo ya!” moment
I’d been working on implementing a feature at work by editing an example project last week. Unfortunately, this wasn’t working … so I re-wrote the project in a language I’m more familiar with, and somewhat greatly more supported. The boo ya! moment was when the project worked without any errors and was just how I waned it, for now.
This wouldn’t be a long topic, but just covering my current workout. After having a long break due to wedding planning, honeymoon, and adjusting to new home life, I stopped all forms of exercise until just before Christmas. I’m taking a colleague through a compound workout, which I’m doing too, and it seems to be working so far.
So, instead of one topic, I’ve covered a couple. Not bad.
