A new era of alliance between the NT types

Some assumptions:

  1. The NT types are the rationals (and the intellectuals) of the world.
  2. The world has problems.
  3. The rationals of the world are best equipped to solve most high-level problems.

As an INTP, I will honestly say that I have had periods of antipathy towards other NT types. Mostly for reasons of jealousy — I wanted the extroversion and confidence of an ENTP, or I wanted the lightning fast analytical skills of an INTJ, or ability to commandeer like an ENTJ.

It’s hard to say how fast the world is changing or devolving. But my recommendation is that the NT types should foster an alliance, because the NT types are really the ones that can keep this world sane, stable and peaceful.

To all NT types: if you discover another person is an NT, but they are a different NT than you, have respect for their NT-ness, and do keep an open mind for the ideas coming from the other person, because they are likely high-quality.

Amen.
