International #WomenInTech Organizations

Here at theBoardlist, we’re working to connect highly qualified women leaders with great tech board opportunities. We’re currently focused on the US, but there are many great international organizations that support both women in tech and women who’d like to take their careers to the next level via board service.
Until we’re able to take theBoardlist world-wide, we’ve pulled together a list of several global organizations you may wish to explore. Note: These groups either operate primarily online or focus on/hold events in multiple places around the world.
- 30% Club (Twitter) — Global chapters, group of Chairs & CEOs committed to better gender balance through voluntary action.
- Astia International (Twitter) — Provides capital, connections and guidance that fuel the growth of highly innovative, women-led ventures around the globe.
- BoardAgender (Twitter) — Singapore group working to encourage increased gender balance in business, and more women in the boardroom.
- Broadrooms (Twitter) — International resources for female board of directors.
- Catalyst (Twitter) — Expands opportunities for women in business. It is a resource for research, information, and advice about women at work.
- #FemaleFounders (Twitter) — The first women-only slack group for startup founders and women in tech space.
- LeanIn Circles (Twitter) — Lean In Circles are small groups who meet regularly to learn and grow together. LeanIn has 27,000 Circles in 137 countries.
- Levo League (Twitter) — Levo is an online network for millennials in the workplace, offering advice, information, and events. — they’ve also got global chapters that meet up in person.
- Webgrrls International (Twitter) — Networking organization of professional business women who are in & or interested in technology.
- Women Corporate Directors (Twitter) — Network of 3,500+ members serving on 8,500+ boards in 73 global chapters.
- Women on Boards (Twitter) — Operates in both Australia & the UK. Works to help women make the right connections and career choices to advance to board roles.
- Women in Technology International (Twitter) — Helps women advance by providing access to — and support from — other professional women working in all sectors of technology.
- Women Tech Makers (Twitter) — Google's global program providing visibility, community, & resources for women in technology.
- Zonta International (Twitter)— Global organization of professionals empowering women worldwide through service and advocacy.
