Michael, you are making a hugely critical point about where we draw the line.

This is probably an incredibly unsatisfactory response, but I have no idea.

I can only speak about my own story, which I’ve decided is a privileged one. I think this perspective is only confirmed by relating to those with more challenging stories.

All of this to say; it seems like privilege is mostly an attitude.

We can either think we have it rough and play it safe, or we can be grateful for what we have and leverage everything to make the world better.

Thank you SO much for sharing your story. This kind of feedback is so important and means so much to me, personally.
