Yo- as someone who was closeted, wrestling, and had the same exact conversations with my church leadership, I feel you on sooooo many levels in this piece. The moment I even hinted at the possibility of affirming LGBT+ people or even being neutral on the matter, I was immediately asked to step down from leading worship, leading our youth group… it was rough.
