I just posted this on the facebook page for the podcast…

I thought I would give you some transparency on the state and growth of the podcast. First off I want to say I am so grateful for you for listening to the podcast I love your support for what I am doing. I understand what I am doing is long tail, evergreen content. Documenting the stories and creating a resource for everyone involved in the local music community to learn what it’s like to be a part of the arts and music culture so that they can apply it to their own journey. This form of content creation does not get an immediate, large listener base, hopefully over time the listener base will grow. A couple of my goals are to get 100 downloads/listens the day I drop a new podcast and also get at least .01% of the population of Seattle (600 people) as active listeners of the podcast. It’s pretty common knowledge that the best form of marketing is word of mouth. If you want to support the growth of the podcast, continuing to share and talk about the podcast is the best way to do it. Take a look at the attached pictures to get a better understanding. I attached a graph of the feedburner stats for the last 7 days and all time. I also attached the blogger account states for the same ranges for pages views. Plus the total number of reviews for the podcast on iTunes. The first episode of the podcast came out in December 2014. Let me know if you have any questions for me. Thanks! — Zim
