Cycling challenges
Who doesn’t like a good bike ride? Just a few, I believe.
Cycling can especially be challenging in big cities as there are a lot of cars, sometimes there are not good enough roads and because of pedestrian attitudes.
I believe it was not once that an angry pedestrian glared me like I was the spawn of the Devil when I ringed my bike bell. I mean, I asked them kindly to step off the bicycle road. That is MY as a bicycler road and the pedestrians usually forget that. I could imagine them glaring at cars driving their way if they would be walking on the streets.
But people understand the rights of cars, and usually forget the rights of bicycles. We need our roads.
I’ve found a great article about bicycling in London and they really share my ideas about bicycling in the big city.
Thankfully, people’s ideas about bicycles are changing and maybe one day I can drive to work without being afraid that somebody will take my road away.
