I can understand that calling out the author of this piece in the way you have can be emotionally carthartic, but I believe that you have gone far beyond the pale in purposely misgendering someone who quite clearly self identifies as a woman.

Misgendering hurts. I know from experience with partners that cis people also can suffer in ways that very much resemble my own gender dysphoria. Personally, gender dysphoria is such a terrible feeling that I wouldn’t want anyone else to suffer it or something approximating it if I can help it.

Besides, as trans and nonbinary folk, we ask others to respect our self-identified genders. It benefits us to extend that courtesy to everyone, even if they won’t do the same to us, because failing to do so gets uncomfortably close to gender policing.
