I totally agree with you when you said adopting a pseudonym is freeing :) Although I do not fear much about my family reading my blog posts since reading isn’t their thing really, I have friends (spoiler: they’re church friends) who I know would cringe at my posts and fictional works that involve sex, alcohol/drugs, and all that rock ’n’ roll (not that I do drugs). I do tell some close friends that that pseudonym is mine though. Sometimes pangs of guilt would strike me, but at the end of the day I don’t want to be boxed in just one kind of writing; rather, I don’t want to be boxed in “clean” writing ;)
