The Dump

A practical Anus is an empiricist, and that means occasionally taking stock of what has passed in order to conceptualize what might pass in the future. It never hurts to characterize the present either. That said, the Anus can glean two operational notions from its efforts thus far, one an action verb and the other a corresponding noun.

“To quine”: to obliterate an issue so thoroughly it becomes absurd and/or unsolvable. (See Word and Object and The Roots of Reference, but almost any anal-lytic work will do).

“Anal-lysis”: the exposition, in arguments, of the implications hidden in this conceptual fog. (Ditto).
