How to make sure you can see your AnyCoin (ANY) in your wallet!
In this short tutorial we will explain how to add your ANY tokens to an Ethereum wallet. We recommend these 5 different wallets.
Unfortunately not every wallet supports ERC20 tokens. So make sure you are using a wallet which supports ERC20/ERC223 tokens.
Here is a list of some ERC20/ERC223 compatible wallets:
- MyEtherWallet (Online)
- MetaMask (Browser extension)
- Mist (Desktop)
- Parity (Desktop)
- imToken (iOS & Android)
The following information is necessary to add your token:
Address: 0x0B6e701CD51A9e1b5829a4c4Fe2130D60C0C4F6c
Ticker: ANY
Decimals: 18
Do not use any exchange wallet to buy ANY! Most of them are incompatible with ERC20 tokens. We recommend using MyEtherWallet or MetaMask.
For this tutorial we will use MyEtherWallet. The tutorial will also work for MetaMask and Mist users. You just have to choose “MetaMask / Mist” as login option. Additionally you will find instructions for MetaMask at the end of this article.
How to add custom tokens to MyEtherWallet
Add your custom tokens in three steps:
- Create an account and log in to MyEtherWallet
Log in to your wallet either via keystone file, private key or MetaMask / Mist.
2. Go to “Token Balances”
3. Click on “Add Custom Token”
You will see this form:
Token Address: 0x0B6e701CD51A9e1b5829a4c4Fe2130D60C0C4F6c
Ticker: ANY
Decimals: 18
Copy the contact address, symbol and decimals from Etherscan and paste it to the form. Click on “save” and… done!
How to add custom tokens directly in MetaMask
If you are using MetaMask you can also add custom tokens directly without MyEtherWallet. It works very similar to the tutorial above.
- Go to MetaMask and click on “Add Token”
2. Fill out the form like explained in the tutorial for MyEtherWallet
Token Address: 0x0B6e701CD51A9e1b5829a4c4Fe2130D60C0C4F6c
Ticker: ANY
Decimals: 18
How to add custom tokens directly in Mist
These are the steps necessary to be able to see your AnyCoin in your Mist Wallet.
1 . Log in to Ethereum Wallet/Mist
2 . Open the “Contracts” tab and click “Watch Token”. The “Add token window” will then show up
3. Go to the Token Contract Address field and enter the following information:
Token Address: 0x0B6e701CD51A9e1b5829a4c4Fe2130D60C0C4F6c
Ticker: ANY
Decimals: 18
