UAE provides earthquake aid worth $100 million to Turkey, Syria

An aid package worth $100 million has been ordered by the UAE president, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Sheikh Hamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for earthquake relief in Turkey and Syria.
The assistance will be distributed evenly between Syria and Turkey, both of which were severely damaged by yesterday’s magnitude 7.8 earthquake and its aftershocks, resulting in significant building and infrastructure damage and mass casualties.
