Week 6

Delivery / Launch week

Day 35

  1. Photography and videography day – make sure you get a 24 hour turn around time on the touch of at least 6 photographs so you have a headshot and some content to schedule for posting
  2. 2. Logo, banner delivery day from creative which was commissioned on the Wednesday.
  3. 3. Podcast if you are doing a podcast today is the day to get training and record the a few episodes. The director will likely also be the trainers. Record at least 3 episodes. Tip: book more guests than you need as invariably someone will drop out. If 2 out of 3 drop out then ask your 1 guest to bring 3 changes of clothes as you can record 3 separate episodes on the day and make it look like a series with the same person. It is advisable to send the guest the questions before hand. Obviously, you too would need a change of clothes including earrings and rings if you wear them. It takes a while to edit podcast at least a week so is advisable to record some BTS (behind the scenes footage) which you can post bit by bit on the lead up to the podcast and the highlights being delivered.
  4. 4. Socials make the socials,
  5. • Add headshots, banners and biography copy including links to website, spotify, LinkedIn whatever it is your pushing as a personal brand CTA (call to action).
  6. • Add one post to each social platform.
  7. • Follow people you actually want to follow, go on their pages like, comment and share their posts. This is social media be SOCIAL! Do this for one hour before you post and one hour afterwards minimum and this will bring organic traffic to your profile.
  8. • WhatsApp change your headshot and strap line so you have continuity across your brand (and change on any other head shots you have like Teams, Zoom, Outlook)
  9. • Share something to your WhatsApp story that announces your new socials (or improved socials whatever it is you are going for)
  10. 5. Schedule your posts, 3 a week are enough per platform initially unless it is TikTok which performs better with 1 a day or more. You can use your photos to make reels. Remember to add subtitles.
  11. 6. Make some short selfie style videos for stories if you are on TikTok or Instagram, ideally you want to post one a day. Making them in advance and placing them in a album on your phone can be a lot less draining. You may wish to get training on how to make a good story video it is a very different thing to a post video. You can use your photos to make video reels and add voice over or not, you may prefer just text. Do remember if you use voice over or speak to add subtitles as 85% of people watch social media with sound off.
  12. 7. Community management
  13. • If you are only going to engage in community management make sure you put that in the biography cause people will feel rejected and may unfollow you. Like comments, comment back, people who engage with you you engage with them. Go on their profile, like and comment things. Your job is to have the best party online and your social media is basically your online house and its your job to make it somewhere people want to come and hang out.
  14. • Informative content is popular these days, if you have good information to share people will engage. Attention grabbing content fad has pasted as people are burned out online these days, they want relaxing content that feeds their brain with useful things. Under 30s use TikTok to search for information they way people in their 40s use Google and Facebook growth age group is the over 60s.
