*I would like to state, for the record, that I no longer speculate publicly about famous people being autistic or not. I think, due to the stigma and my lack of credentials, I should no longer be doing that.

This article is of its time within the context of my autism journey, so I made the difficult decision to not revise it but to instead point out its ethical flaws in hopes that others might know what not to do.

Only Murders in the Building returned this past week for its second season and my autistic ass 100% squeed and vocal stimmed up a storm when I saw that the first two episodes had dropped.

Seriously. My husband quipped that it was like having a Muppet on the couch. Such was my autistic joy at its return. But I digress.

For those who’ve never watched this acclaimed show, it’s a fabulously funny and intriguing whodunnit created by Steve Martin and writer/actor John Hoffman.
