Meth, blood, cartels, fried chicken and all the reasons why Breaking Bad broke bad — but in a good way.

Winner of multiple Emmy awards, winner of the 2014 Golden Globe for Outstanding television series, the highest IMDb rating for a TV series and an inspiration for cartels and DEA, Breaking Bad is regarded as the greatest TV series of all time (and also in my opinion). With a few flaws, like the entirety of Skyler White, one of the greatest written episodes of all time, Ozymandias, and its ever so expanding universe with Better Call Saul and El Camino, Breaking Bad made it impossible for any show of its genre to even come close to its perfection. The show makes you wonder, why did Vince Gilligan make a character so relatable, yet so hateable and fearful, and another character on the opposite spectrum, but yet we try our best to feel for him? What and why was the endgame of that sinister love-hate relationship between Walter and Jesse so tragic? And of course, why was Skyler White made to feel like 2020? …

Gang wars, family reunions, gun-slinging hitmen, you name it — were all a part of the Italian crime drama. But, there’s more to it than meets the eye.

Based on the novel by Mario Puzo and regarded by many as the GOAT, The Godfather is more than just a mob drama. From its iconic dialogues to its bloody gritty violence, from family loyalty to heart breaks— this film gets everything spot on in its 175 minutes run time. Not only is the first film regarded as a masterpiece, the immediate sequel (although we wish we could forget the third part), by many, is considered better than its predecessor. But, there’s a lot more to it than you would imagine. …

Questioning reality with The Matrix was one of Neo’s depths of mysteries but for us, the questions still linger why was The Matrix everything that it is today.

Initially a 600-page comic book, The Matrix was a redefining film for the sci-fi genre. The world was just about getting ready for another trilogy from the Skywalker saga but instead, were ravishing about this Warner Brothers and The Wachowski brothers (now sisters) masterpiece. From CGI filled action sequences to absolutely no CGI stunts (yes you read that right), from questioning reality to making us wonder what is reality, The Matrix set the precedent for what was to come in the 21st-century era of the sci-fi genre. …

Hawkins is home to quite a lot of strange things — but did you ever wonder what went behind those things to make it, stranger?

When Stranger Things hit streaming mega-giant Netflix in 2016, there were speculations that this was just another pre-teen drama about a bunch of kids from a ‘nobody-has-ever-heard-of-this’ town, while fighting their way around puberty and parental drama. While setting itself in a solid number 2 spot for the most-streamed Netflix Original, 3 seasons later and its 4th one set for a 2021 release, it’s safe to say we’ve built a bond to a group of kids, a bunch of hysterical parents, some horny and lovable teens, a grumpy cop, E.T., …

Not fun facts, just the spills and thrills of the greatest sitcom of the 2000s

When I started watching the show in 2016, I couldn’t find another show that stood so much as The Office. An emotional rollercoaster, Jim’s immature but stomach crunching pranks on Dwight, Michael’s laissez-faire management style, Dwight’s deep desire to get a promotion from Assistant (to the) Regional Manager — the list could go on. However, there came a point (which I do not need to mention) when I had stopped watching the show, and quite a lot of people followed. I had no desire to watch the remainder of the show and I was extremely hellbent on doing so. But watching clips of Jim’s pranks, Dwight’s wedding, Andy’s rise to being an internet sensation, I thought of giving it another shot. …
