Trump Stares Down the Sun

WASHINGTON | Following Monday’s solar eclipse, President Donald Trump was blasted by the fake news, liberal media for a variety of photos and videos of him staring directly at the sun, despite scientists confirming the dangers of doing so.
“I know the best scientists, believe me, the best, they’re good people,” Trump said to a room full of fake news journalists. “And they said ‘Donny, you’re fit, the most fit person we’ve ever seen. You’ve got the best, strongest eyes, you can look directly at the sun, that’s what they said, their words, not mine.”
Trump went on to explain why he didn’t have protective glasses in the first place, saying “I have kept my promise to the American people and have donated my salary for the second quarter to the National Alliance. Good people, really good people. The best. Nicest people you’ll ever meet.”
Trump spent the following 15 minutes explaining that a solar eclipse is when the moon passes between the earth and the sun, before being ushered from the podium after awkwardly pointing in the direction of CNN’s Jim Acosta for questioning.
Trump is currently scheduled to have reconstructive retinal surgery Friday.
