SAN FRANCISCO — DECEMBER 21st, 2017 —

We are happy to announce that we have officially partnered with the Request Network. This is an important partnership for the Bee Token, as the Request Network protocol is a crucial component to our business model for customers to request payments from possible renters in our Beenest platform.

The Request Network is a decentralized network built on top of Ethereum, which allows anyone, anywhere to request a payment with the security, transparency, and integrity provided by the blockchain. Without a third party, this decentralized payment network provides customers of home sharing or other sharing businesses a trusted gateway to make online payments for every major global currency, and in a seamless manner.

“We’ve been talking to Chris & Etienne from Request back and forth on decentralized payments for awhile. They are clearly a super smart team and it is really an honor to partner with Request network to accelerate growth for both parties.”

-Jon Chou, Co-founder & CEO of Bee Token

“The Bee Token is taking the decentralization of an existing industry to the next level and we are happy to be part of their ecosystem. It is a fantastic use case to see a smart contract using another smart contract to manage its invoices.”

-Request Network Team
