Turkey’s Presence In Somalia

Turkey have had it claws deep in Somalia and the Farmaajo led government has been associated with Turkey so deeply. They have given the Turkish an open invite to have a hold on Somalia, this strategy helps Turkey deepen their foot more in Africa and it gives them an open invite to explore and exploit.

Turkish President, Erdogan’s Somalia gambit is part of a larger strategy designed to enhance Turkey’s influence around the world, Somalia is a small pawn in Turkey larger strive for influence.

The question that we Somalis should ask each other is what will be Turkey’s place in Somalia if a new regime takes over the country and see through all there games and exploits.

Is there a possibility of their continous presence in the country when a new regime takes over or has the Farmaajo led government brought us in bed with a future problem?
