“Life is what you make it” is a novel by Preeti Shenoy. It is the one of best-selling books in India of her work. The book was “Top book of 2011” according to the Nielsen list published in Hindustan Times and also an all-time best seller of 2011 in Times of India.

The story of a girl named Ankita who is in her 20s. The story is begun with her schooling time when she fell in love with two people named Abhi and Vaibhav. But she got confused about all of this happening to her. After some time she goes to the next high school and focuses on her study and becomes very competitive with nature. At college, she meets a boy and starts to like him. During this time she has a bad incident, and she gets very disturbed. That’s why she was affected by Bipolar Disorder and the story is all about that Ankita how handles the situation and how to overcome all challenges and live life the way she wants.

5. Her Last Wish (Ajay k. Pandey)

Life does not go according to our plan. Just like this line, you will get the story in the book “Her last wish.” A man named Vijay is a simple living and simple wishes man. His wife (Astha) brings love and happiness to his dull and boring life. But problems enter in his life when he comes to know the fatal disease of his wife and his happiness convert into sadness. His wife has some last wishes and he wants to fulfil them so that the remaining days of her life are filled with happiness.

Narayan.

7. Godan (Munshi Premchand)

“Godan” is a famous novel by “Munshi Premchand,” which was first published in 1936 and is considered one of the greatest Hindi novels of modern Indian literature. The book's story was written around socioeconomic deprivation and the exploitation of poor people. It was premchand’s last complete novel. Godan was made into a Hindi film in 1963 and In 2004, was also part of a 27- episode TV series,“Tehreer…. Munshi Premchand Ki” at Doordarshan based on Premchand's writing.

8. One Indian Girl (Chetan Bhagat)

“One Indian Girl” is a story of a twenty-seven-year-old girl, named Radhika Mehta, who grew up in Delhi and work in London. She is getting married. The girl says that she has some reasons why maybe society does not like her too much, Firstly she makes a lot of money, second, she has an opinion on every point and Third, she has had premarital sex. She also says that if she would be a man then all things would be okay. But now, she is a girl and society will not accept to her for these reasons.
