Miami Hurricanes Football Preview

I am going to start a preview and anaylsis of every Miami Hurricanes game throughout the season. I love the Canes and have been a fan since the 1990s. I want to branch out from wrestling and talk about other things that I love. The Hurricanes are definitely one of those things.

3 things that I am looking for this season:

  1. Progression of Malik Rosier: He had his moments and delivered at times but I feel that he need to progress if Miami has any chance of winning the ACC. They had no shot vs. Clemson so they losing last year wasn’t really a shock. I think he’s the weakest link of the team. That’s not to say that he’s not good. I think he will improve and make better throws but he needs to be consistent. If he is, Miami should win every regular season game. That’s how confident I am about Miami this season. I’ve heard good things about him in the summer and I’m hoping it continues for the whole season.
  2. Offensive Line: I don’t think it’s in bad shape, but it does need to improve. Let me rephrase that. It HAS to improve. 3 starters are gone and there were some issues that hopefully are fixed by Sunday. As long as they can be consistent and block well, Rosier should have no problem airing out the ball and throwing to some of the most talented receivers in the country
  3. Defense (turnover chain): Hold on. Hear me out. I am very confident with the Canes defense. I think its in the top 10 in the country. I am talking about all the hype that comes with the turnover chain. I am happy it’s here and that it’t not going anywhere. I just hope that it doesn’t make defenders go for big plays and not make the logical ones. Yea it may not be the sexiest thing I am looking forward to but I justw ajnt the right play to be made, turnover chain or now

I am so looking foward to this season. Any feedback would be greatly appreicated. Here’s to a great season and it’s ALL ABOUT THE U!!!!
