I spend all the time in control in my daily life, I want someone else to be in control in the bedroom.

I don’t have a whole lot going in the way of sexual fantasies.

Sex in the rain.

Public sex.

Watching other folks get it on

But what I really like and am often afraid (ashamed) to admit is that I like to be dominated.

I don’t know why I have any shame about it as it is the second most common fantasy for Americans according to a sex survey released in 2018:

Friday Fright Night

A film that flaunts its progressive bonafides only to not fully embrace them to tell a story we’ve all seen before.

The Purge: Election Year Official Poster

I love The Purge movies.

I’ve seen all of them with the exception of The First Purge (2018), though it will be one of the movies I watch this year for my annual Halloween Movie Marathon.

The Purge as a concept is fascinating, and I appreciate the fact that the movies don’t shy away from the idea that, in a world where the Purge exists, the most vulnerable people will be black and brown people in particular and poor people in general.

The entire series doesn’t shy away from the very real racial and socioeconomic forces that shape our world…

Oral sex is too. Yeah, I said it.

I never masturbate.

And when I say never, I mean never.

Now, this doesn’t mean I’ve never masturbated. I tried when I was much younger, but I don’t now and haven’t since I was a teenager.

And the reason why I don’t is quite simple: I can’t get myself off.

Now, before you think I just need to try harder or I have some hangups about self-pleasure I’ll just dispel a few commonly held assumptions about my inability to pleasure myself:

  1. No, I have no religious hangups regarding masturbation. Sex was freely talked about in my home growing up, and…

It’s not just the obvious hot spots that deliver waves of pleasure.

When it comes to sex, it’s the little things, the attention to detail that can take an average sexual encounter and turn it into an amazing one.

For me, this generally includes doing naughty things to non-obvious body parts. You know, fingers, toes, knees, and elbows — all those places people can forget to play with, in an effort to hit all the hot spots, and to hit them quickly

While fingers and toes are pretty obvious erogenous zones, when is the last time someone caressed the back of your knees or kissed your elbows?

How about tickled your knee…

If you’re writing for the love of writing, that’s great, but some of us want to get paid for our work.

There are much easier ways to make a living or even a part-time income than writing.

So, f you’re writing to express yourself and have a creative outlet that’s great.

I think in this “get it at all costs” world we live in we’ve gotten away from hobbies and leisure activities outside of work. We are living to work and not working to live and that’s a shame as well as being bad for our overall mental and physical well-being.

However, if you’re a writer who’s writing for fun and relaxation and the money is secondary, I really need you…

I’m a writer, dammit.

So goes the conversation with almost every writer I coach when I mention SEO and other ways to market their writing online.

Unfortunately, for anyone publishing their work on the internet, SEO has to be an integral part of any online marketing strategy if you want to gain new readers, views, and subscribers.

Google is constantly tweaking their search engine algorithm, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t certain steps you can take to help you rank well in the SERPS regardless of what new updates Google releases.

Follow this simple SEO checklist and you’ll see your…

I won’t replace one bad president with another for the sake of having a Democrat in the White House.

Vote blue no matter who.

That has been the rallying cry of democrats since this presidential contest kicked off after the 2018 midterms.

To me, this rallying cry was always problematic.

Considering the choices of democratic candidates that were put forth, combined with who was actually responsible for electing Donald Trump in the first place, the mantra rang hollow at best and seemed designed to suppress criticisms of the democrats running at worst.

To be clear, 89% of African-American voted for Hillary Clinton compared to 58% of white Americans who voted for Donald Trump. …

Generate amazing content ideas every day with ease

I readily admit I don’t understand how someone runs out of ideas.

My issue has always been having too much to say and not being able to write about all the ideas that pop into my head.

I’ve also been writing professionally for 20 years, so I have a treasure trove of ideas I’ve stockpiled over the years, ready to pull from any time I need to write a new article.

However, generating enough good content ideas is often a struggle for many writers, particularly when you need to produce multiple articles every day.

You stare at a blank screen…

Stop running from love and let love find you.

To love is a choice.

You choose to commit.

You choose to make it work.

Growing up is not a bad thing or a good thing; it just is.

Time goes by pretty fast.

If you’re 30 today, tomorrow you will be 40. If you’re 40 today, one day you wake up and you’re 60, wondering where the time went.

The only question is, do you want to live your life with someone else or do you want to keep going solo?

People are always running, dodging, hopping falling in love — and that’s the easy part — being adult…

Spending 5 minutes on each of these three activities is enough

Internet marketers will talk to you about the 80/20 rule. They’ll tell you that you should write 20% of the time and market your writing 80% of the time.

There’s a reason why they’re internet marketers and not writers. That sort of math doesn’t work for writers.

We want to write, not spend all our time marketing what we write. Who has time to learn all of the ins and outs of social media, content marketing, and SEO, when all you want to do is write?

Now you can’t avoid marketing your work. Self-promotion is key if you’re going to…
