My Intentions for 2018

2017 has been a year of learning and dreaming. Learning about who I am, what I’m capable of, and dreaming about the kind of life I want.

2017 has been a year of great friendships, crushing heartaches and monumental obstacles.

I begin this new year with some scars, some aches, some fears. But also, with excitement, hope and focus. This new year will require a lot of mental resilience and perseverance. In order to reach my goals and stay healthy while doing so, I’ve made an action plan for this upcoming year. My intentions for 2018 are:

Only if I’m feeling my best, can I accomplish the best I can. I will take the time to decompress, collect myself, care for myself and prepare myself for the long road ahead. With each new day, I’ll begin with:

  • Meditate
  • Journaling
  • Affirmations
  • Yoga
  • Pick 3 goals to complete today
  • French lessons
  • Breakfast
  • 10 min belly scratch fest with my dog

Give Value

Every interaction with another person is an opportunity to give something of value. Whether they need a hug, a kind word, comfort or a kick in the butt, make a point of leaving this person better than you found them. Including myself.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
