Armbar Drills at Pride Martial Arts.
Today was a day where I left feeling confident that I’ve improved in my Jiu Jitsu. Afterwards, I reflected on how martial arts is a parallel of life.
In martial arts if you train hard, then you see yourself develop. Sometimes it’s a system of peaks and valleys. Sometimes you’re on the ski lift.
This isn’t always the case in life. I’ve had some recent times where no matter what I did, I couldn’t seem to get ahead. I find during those times, being able to train or write, helps tremendously.
But I think the most important thing about it is that regardless of those hard times, Jiu Jitsu and Tae Kwon Do have given me some excellent friends. So no matter if I have a day like today. Or a day where I’m getting monkey stomped. I love it.
My phone is being weird I don’t know if this will post on Friday or Saturday so Saturday will have a double post.
