I’m picking DC.

This will be a quick one. I’m at my buddy’s house awkwardly sitting on the couch watching UFC. I have a special connection with UFC and fighting in general.

Growing up I had to fight frequently. Back then it was self defense of the utmost urgency. I never wanted to do it.

Today, I woke up early. Crept out of bed. Boiled a new mouth guard. Drove off. Then I punched my friends in the face for an hour. Followed by a nap. Then choked my friends for an hour and a half.

I think everyone should do martial arts. It is different from needing to fight. It’s a beautiful thing that elicits peace in my mind. If I have stress, fighting helps. If I’m depressed, I choke people. I punch my way through anger. Fighting to me is the best way to keep my emotions in check. It saved my life. I lost 40 necessary pounds.

Whew. 9 minutes to spare. The daily blog continues.
