A home is a place where a human life finds meaning of peaceful and joyful living with the family and be in tune with the lifestyle as desired. This is the place best suitable for almost all types of lives, including animals and birds. The animals stay in caves which have interiors but not the designers. Birds build their home in the form of nest and this also has interiors where eggs are kept. Here also, designers lack. But the mankind has the boon of life and designers are luckily available. Even the challenges of mankind’s lives are there, and this brings the ideas of designing interiors.
An office, is now a days another home for a person who seeks success and find its livelihood. Without the office, the person’s skills are useless set of garbage. Since, only office is the best place where showcasing of the skills can be given a chance. A workplace is an office. This can be a field of large area and even a small hut which comprises areas for people to work in and materials to work with. A factory or a table — despite of the fact of the size and dimension, anything can be made an office if the interiors are appropriate.
This has a huge applicable design and concept creation area where deep understanding of work-life of workers is required. If applied with a bad idea, turns people in to the non-productive humans and the same become productive and fair humans, if applied with a good idea of design.
Kitchen is the place where the earnings are spent. Tummy-filling and satisfied hunger is the main reason of any person to be in the workplace. If this was not the agenda than nobody would have thought of working at any place. Also, the kitchen is the most frustration generating area of any house, due to too much of chaos between vessels and the vegetables. Even the safety measures are also many to be considers as compared to the whole house. Here mostly the functional needs to cook good food are mostly considered. But, now it is the trend followed by all the interior designers that the kitchens should make cooking easy and reducing the chaos of vessels and washing needs.
A tourist, or an outside working person who travels from one place to another, needs a place to hide the head and find shelter. Such shelters are called hotels, guest houses, or paying guests. Most preferred are the hotels over motels due to their city centricity. A home can never be replaced by anything, but an attempt can be made to make a hotel behave like a home for the stayer. This job is done by the interior designers.
For all these and other types of spaces where construction work is done, the interior designs are required to be made, keeping in mind the central idea of providing the way in making mankind’s life easier to live, either at home, a workplace or somewhere outside. Wherever, the human goes inside a building, an interior design must make that human feel good.
