Swiss Miss Dark Chocolate Hot Cocoa Mix — A Hot Chocolate Review
The Swiss Miss Dark Chocolate is amongst more popular hot chocolate options available on Amazon when you search for “hot chocolate”. Swiss Miss actually has a whole bunch of different hot chocolate flavours — ranging from Hazlenut flavouring to hot chocolate containing Marshmallows!
This review is of the Dark Chocolate flavour that I made by adding into hot milk.

Aroma: You actually get a slight aroma of chocolate (and sugar).
Colour: The colour is deep — rich and a dark creamy colour, and it looks extremely chocolatey! Very inviting and a really good dark chocolate colour.
Texture: Slightly thicker than normal, feels like you’re drinking a rich creamy concoction. I quite liked it!
Chocolatey-ness: This one surprised me by being very chocolatey and rich. The hot chocolate is a bit on the sweeter side, but overall you can distinctly taste the chocolate and it’s reasonably balanced.
Taste: 7.5/10. This is an overall chocolatey and satisfying drink, and Swiss Miss gets a lot of things right here. My only qualm is that this drink is a bit on the sweeter side — so if you’re particularly sensitive towards sweeter drinks, this might not be your cup of chocolate. However, if you like your hot chocolate a bit sweeter — you’ll probably absolutely love this one!
Swiss Miss has perhaps the widest variety of hot chocolates available in the market today, and is definitely amongst the more popular options on Amazon. It’s a company known for making cocoa products. A rich and dark chocolatey drink (that’s a bit on the sweeter side) — Swiss Miss has definitely proven its worth as being one of the world’s best known hot chocolate brands. That said, at ₹86.38 per cup it’s not cheap, and I do think there are some other better balanced hot chocolate drinks you can find in India. The drink is imported from the USA so that might explain a part of that price tag.
