When creative works are released into the world, they have the ability to make an impression upon generations of hearts and souls. If the creative work appeals to our core being, we keep its legacy alive by sharing it through mediums, such as this.

Prior to writing this, I was watching “La La La” by Naughty Boy. I’ve been singing the catchy chorus (with my inside voice) all day. The song’s upbeat tempo was today’s cadence, filling me with a sense of joy and determination. But when I tuned to YouTube to watch the video (which I love), I lost it. My detachment from the storyline was gone, my super hero cape was nowhere to be found, and I shed a tear (or two).

I’m currently building the infrastructure for my life’s next chapter, so I know the root of this emotion. I’ll forever cherish this moment of vulnerability.

I don’t know how watching this video and writing this story will shape my future, but I do know to go “la la la” when the seeds of doubt, fear, and limitation try taking root in my thoughts.
