Setting up your Crypto Wallet
YOU MUST CREATE ON YOUR PC, NOT YOUR PHONE.
You need to have a non-custodial wallet to receive your CryptoPlayer NFT and we have prepared a tutorial to facilitate. It's only a few steps.
STEP 1 — Creating a Cryptocurrency Wallet
We suggest MetaMask: a digital wallet that is specific to Ethereum.
1.1 You will need to download a Chrome Extension for MetaMask. Access the website www.metamask.io using Google Chrome as your browser.
1.2 Click Download in the upper right corner of the screen.
1.3 Click Install Metamask for Chrome to start the installation.
1.4 Add an extension (Add to Chrome — when it’s added, click start now).
1.5 Click on Create a Wallet
1.6 Agree to the terms of service .
1.7 Create a password (it will be used every time the browser is opened to sign a smart contract (For example, at every NFT purchase on OpenSea), confirm, and click create.
This step is by far the most sensitive part of setting up your wallet. A secret backup phrase is a 12-word unique phrase, that helps restore access to your wallet if you ever forget your password or use a different computer. No one should ever ask for your secret backup phase, so make sure you do not share it with anyone. Write it in multiple places that only you can access and make sure you do not lose your secret phrase. If lost, you will not be able to access your wallet in case your computer is lost, stolen, or if data gets corrupted.
1.8 Create an access password. Watch the tutorial if you want.
1.9 Clicking to reveal your secret words. Save your recovery phrases in a physical paper (remember this is your only way to access in case you lose/forget your password), and click next.
1.10 Confirm your passphrase by choosing the words in the same order as they were revealed and confirmed.
1.11 Your Metamask will be ready to use, click on everything ready and let’s go to the next steps.
STEP 2: Fix your Metamask in chrome.
2.1 By clicking on the puzzle symbol in the upper right corner next to the favorites star of the chrome address bar.
2.2 When opening, click on the pin next to MetaMask. When fixed, the fox symbol (Metamask) will be next to the favorite star.
2.3 Check and copy your ETH public wallet address
REMINDER: To receive your CryptoPlayer NFT, you MUST have sent us your ETH public wallet address, through this form, and have received our e-mail “NFT transferred confirmation”.
Step 3: Open www.opensea.io to see your CryptoPlayer Gift
3.1 Log in on OpenSea by clicking on the profile icon.
3.2 Connect your Metamask.
3.3 Click next and connect your account.
3.4 With your Metamask connected, go back to the profile icon and click "My Collections". Your CyrptoPlayer will appear in your collections in the "collected" section (some cases in the "Hidden" section).
REMINDER AGAIN: To receive your CryptoPlayer NFT, you MUST have sent us your ETH public wallet address, through this form, and have received our e-mail “NFT transferred confirmation”.
