Ah, well i suppose the key takeaway is that every transaction is processed by the network independently, so no 10+ minute wait times. Confirmations are deterministic too, not statistical, so a payment can be provably final — none of this “wait for 6 transactions to be extra super sure” stuff.

There’s no miners and so (essentially) no fees, and no 51% attack, so no harm in spinning up niche DAGs for storage intensive use-cases if the “main” DAG ever gets too large for the comfort of hubs.

Generally the whole thing appears to be a much more scalable approach than a “single chain of blocks”.
