Fascist ideology is considered right-wing because at its core, it’s *reactionary*, concerning itself with the problems of “now”, and desires to return to some previous (possibly imagined) state which was better/more natural/easier/the way things should be — and that’s firmly in the conservative sphere. You’re talking about authoritarianism on the left, and I won’t disagree that authoritarianism on whichever side of the spectrum it emerges is usually a bum deal for we, the people.

And if you haven’t read any Nietzsche, highly recommend getting on that ASAP. It’s a fantastic time to be reading some Nietzsche (among others)
