I never thought of it like this before but . . Thanksgiving is a herald to the greatest thing to ever be thankful for: Christmas. A time of thanks for the wonderful good things God has given us leads us to Jesus, the one who secures our thankfulness to extend beyond death itself. That the Christ, the incarnation of God the Son, came to bring us near to himself! No longer separated from him by our sins.
