Tour de France 2019 — Who will win?

Team Sky is called Team Ineos in this years tour, but they still have the two superstars Chris Froome and Geraint Thomas. They are also the biggest favorites to win, but I think differently about that.

Who will win Tour de France 2019? Jakob Fuglsang is my personal favorite to win Tour de France 2019, and I finally think he will be riding with the yellow jersey when the riders arrive at Champs-Élysées after three weeks. He is number aight on the bookie’s list, but I think he will surprise this year.

Who is Jakob Fulgsang?

Jakob Fuglsang is a Danish professional road racing cyclist. He has a silver medal from OL in Rio 2016 and the 34-year-old racer from Silkeborg is maybe better than ever in 2019. He is currently Captain for the team, Astana.

In 2017 He won Criterium du Dauphine right before the tour, but he got injured an was racing a disappointing tour. I remember last year in Lance Armstrong’s podcast, he said, that he thought that Jakob Fuglsang would win, but yet again he was disappointing.

I think 2019 is the year for Jakob Fuglsang. He already won Vuelta a Andalucía and Liege — Bastogne — Liege this year, and I don’t think he will stop there.

Sadly I am out riding from Denmark to Paris at the same time they show Tour de France, so I will not watch it on my new smart TV. I am trying to find a good phone, I can bring with me on my trip, and I am trying to find a new iPhone. So far I am looking on this website, so I can find the best iPhone for the money, to watch my hero Jakob Fuglsang:

Let us pray, that he will not disappoint this year. But he is competing with the best riders in the world, so no matter what, I am proud of him already.

You can see the top riders on this list, and I am also looking very much forward to see, what Quintana and Roglic can show in this year’s Tour de France.

Top 13 favorites

  1. Chris Froome
  2. Geraint Thomas
  3. Tom Dumoulin
  4. Adam Yates
  5. Richie Porte
  6. Primoz Roglic
  7. Nairo Quintana
  8. Jakob Fuglsang
  9. Egan Bernal
  10. Steven Kruiswijk
  11. Simon Yates
  12. Enric Mas

It is pretty cool to see the two young twins Simon and Adam, who ride on the same team both are some of the favorites to win the race. I think 2019 will be one of the best tours we have seen for many years.
