Oh, this article was hilarious and painfully true. I don’t live in San Fran proper, rather on the Peninsula for last 40 years. In last 5+ years, the exponential increase in rents has been unfathomable.

I choose to no longer throw my hard earned $$ at exhorbitant yet compromised living spaces. I am in the process of moving out of the Bay Area where there is more affordable housing in CA AND even better quality of life.

I hate to say it but I foresee the rental conditions in Bay Area only getting worse. Why would I want to be a part of that insanity?
