Progress continues towards the Abacus launch
Abacus has been forging ahead with development day and night. Merging two teams together is no easy task but we’ve steadily grown more comfortable with our team’s chemistry and are forging a new path towards Abacus’s release.
Front-end work is nearly complete for the launch and we’re starting to see a light at the end of the sail for a full release. Testing to ensure stability will be important so patience is key for our launch.
Abacus’s Social Media Channels
Abacus’s Social Media channels will be a mixture of LQDR’s X account and Ennead’s Discord.
X — @AbacusFi
Abacus’s X presence will be found on Liquid Drivers X. The team made this decision mutually as Liquid Driver has a large following with a 4 year old account creation — perfect for brand integrity and validity. The Liquid Driver team will still be managing this account even post-transition, but all Abacus announcements will be found there after the launch of the site and protocol. The LiquidDriver X account will rebrand upon launch.
To ensure a smooth migration across channels, Ennead’s X username was changed on 05–14 to AbacusFi. The Liquid Driver X account will be renamed at Launch to AbacusFi and the Ennead X will be put in maintenance mode for users to migrate to the new X.
Discord — Ennead
Ennead’s Discord will be the home for Abacus’s Discord presence. The Liquid Driver team has already been integrated inside of our mod team and we look forward to their continued presence in our server. The entire Liquid Driver mod team has decided to stay with Abacus. Being battle-hardened veterans against all types of discord tomfoolery we’re thankful that the Liquid Driver mod team is interested in being part of Abacus’s launch and release.
All Liquid Driver community members are urged to move over to the Ennead discord pre-launch so as to introduce themselves and get accustomed to the new Abacus server. After the Abacus launch, the Liquid Driver discord will remain in maintenance mode as users move over but all Abacus related news will be found on Ennead’s discord.

LQDR Emissions for neadCHAD stakers
Ennead has always done right by our community and with this merge we will continue to do so. Thus, Liquid Driver has graciously allocated LQDR to be streamed to all nead stakers during the launch.
Abacus will provide a 10% APR of LQDR for all neadRAM, neadPHAR and neadCLEO stakers. (This calculation is based on current prices and is subject to change.)
With the new upcoming Abacus launch, we wanted to make sure that our Ennead holders, throughout the markets ups and downs, were taken care of and brought alongside Abacus as we sail to new heights. Abacus will function similarly to LQDR, and will receive revenue from all of our chain deployments just like qLQDR does now. Thus, stakers will get a piece of the Abacus launch action and, once locked, be able to claim from all of our vast chain deployments. A win-win for a community that has been loyal and steadfast from the start. Staking and chilling wins once again.
In addition, the Abacus team will receive a LQDR allocation to ensure we are all aligned with the team’s vision. The team has a mandated non-selling of our locked tokens for at least 3 quarters, which will provide the team with the revenue and motivation to keep building up our cross-chain deployments to the benefit of all LQDR holders and qLQDR lockers. LQDR winning equals team happy and token holders happy. Math done right.
So who is Abacus exactly?
Abacus’s staff is a mixture of LQDR/Thena’s development staff and Ennead’s operational staff. Ennead benefits from a large increase in development resources and LQDR benefits from the operational and business development capacity of Ennead.
