My name is Akash Kapoor. The technological aspect of computers has fascinated me since I was eight years old. Since then, my interest in the computer world has widened through various experiences. It all started, when I tried and succeeded in bringing up the operating system of our family's IBM 486 PC. I decided I would take out the toolbox and install the modem on my own. I was amazed at the complexity of the machine when I opened the computer to install a modem, since at that time I did not know as much about the inner workings of computers as I do now. Seeing the motherboard, PCI slots, and the hardware was overwhelming. I unscrewed the expansion bay and installed the modem all on my own.

That experience was the beginning of my curiosity with computers, and I took it upon myself to begin learning as much as I could about them. I began going to my father’s office and helping him type documents on his computer and learning new commands, and learning how to create spreadsheets, databases, etc.

Since then, I have just always been marveled by emerging technology and helping others out as well. In my corporate career, I have worked with cross functional teams for about 15 years now, from being a BA, QA, PM. Wearing these various hats in different industries has allowed me to have a great grasp of various enterprises and understand the challenges at large enterprises.

Working with teams across the world has allowed me to understand what it takes to understand working across time zones and cultural differences. I have worked in various SAP and Salesforce implementations and integrations which have all been done on time and within budget.

Even taught an MBA course at University of Akron about Enterprise Systems and Implementation of SAP and Salesforce.

Having these experiences has made me the sponge I am, I hope to share my experiences with you and hope to grow more.
