Do you have interest in being a brand and content manager?

Initially, I was a music manager. It was a role that came natural to me back in junior high. My eye for talent was unmatched.

I saw the potential in some of the rappers around me and wanted to help.

While some were receptive, others were not.

Despite the frustration of having my advice fall on deaf ears, focusing on my own career allowed me to use myself as a case study to showcase what what I had to offer. Being in the music business introduced me to other skill sets. I learned about branding and marketing through emulating the processes of major record companies.

Fast forward a decade and some change later, I am a renaissance woman with the digital footprint to prove it.

There two ways to go about being a brand and content manager.

  • One way is to use yourself as a case study.
  • The other way is to find someone who trusts and believes in you enough to take their brand to the next level.

Being a brand and content manager is all about knowing who you’re dealing with, knowing the offer, and testing different methods to attract desired audiences.
