Keeping constipation at bay

If you’ve ever been unfortunate enough to suffer with either candida or constipation, you’ll realise just how lethargic and sluggish it can make you feel. When something affects the internal workings of your digestive system, it can have a knock on effect to other areas of your general health and well-being too. In certain cases, it can also make you so incredibly uncomfortable that it can even contribute towards insomnia or broken sleep. This again, can be detrimental to your health sinceexperts recommend that you should aim to get around 8 hours of sleep each night.

If you only suffer from digestive discomfort sporadically, then usually adjusting your diet to take in more fibre and roughage will normally do the trick. However, if you are prone to outbreaks, it might also be helpful to try and drink more fluids, in particular increasing your water intake. Around 8 glasses of water a day is the suggested amount that an adult should try and drink although you should always drink more if you are feeling generally unwell or running a fever so that the body can keep itself cool. Keeping hydrated will usually help to keep everything moving along the digestive tract easily, meaning that you will be less likely to suffer attacks of constipation and bloating. You could also try taking Colosan capsules to assist your small intestine with ensuring that particles of waste products don’t build up and become problematic.

These tablets are completely safe, and are vegetarian and vegan approved, so are suitable for all. They contain magnesium oxide that assists the digestive tract by supplying a steady supply of oxygen to help it to work more efficiently. Just as respiration is more efficient when an oxygen supply is present, so digestion is also. Once the Colosan has sufficiently oxygenated the colon, bowel movements should become more regular, and sufferers from constipation will also be happy to know that stools should be softer and easier to pass too. Up to 4 tablets can be taken a day, although it is recommended to start with between 1 and 2 tablets and then increase the dosage as and when necessary. However, if you are planning to take a high dosage of these supplements for an extended period of time, it is advisable to see your doctor or healthcare professional before doing so.

Another thing to remember whilst taking the tablets is to try and avoid taking them at the same time as any vitamin c supplements you may be taking, not because taking them both together is harmful; but rather the vitamin C can have an adverse reaction on the magnesium oxide tablets. This means that you might not achieve the desired anti-oxidant results, as the tablets may work more slowly than they otherwise would to cleanse the colon from harmful bacteria.
