I agree the headphone jack can go in peace. What I find interesting is that in fact Apple won’t be the first to get rid of it. Moto Z already doesn’t have it.
What is even more interesting is that The Verge already posted a review of Moto Z, and if they were really pissed about it lacking the 3.5 mm jack, they would’ve probably written more than this:
One feature that’s missing? A headphone jack, so you’ll have to rely on Bluetooth or the included adapter to plug headphones into the USB-C port.

But of course, as this is a natural thing to happen in the 21st century, it wasn’t a big deal in the phone review.
