In the light of updated guidance from Public Health England and an abundance of caution The Forum has taken the difficult decision to cancel Norwich Games Festival 2020 which was due to return to The Forum from Monday 25 May — Saturday 30 May 2020.

This decision was taken in the best interests of our visitors and contributors as the festival falls within a period identified as the likely peak of the Coronavirus pandemic. The festival is hugely popular and attracts tens of thousands of fans.

The Forum takes the wellbeing of visitors and staff very seriously and continues to monitor the threat of coronavirus, adhere to the latest advice and respond accordingly with the best interests of our visitors and staff at heart. It is therefore in everyone’s best interests to avoid creating situations where the virus has the opportunity to spread.

Commenting Festival Producer Richard Fair said “”It’s such a shame to cancel but it is the right thing to do. We had some amazing events, workshops and talks lined up for this year and the good news is that have we have already signed them up for 2021!”

Norwich Games Festival will return to The Forum in May 2021.
