Omnium Lore

The supermineral omnium works as an energy supplier for the biotech that the bridged use. Its origins in the Gods dimension are what gives it the supernatural element of facilitating the neural-network between the bridged, provided you have the correct hardware.

Once synthesized within a vessel, omnium creates ouroborgesis, a process that allows both technological and organic machinery (i.e. guts and organs) to operate on a self-reflective loop. In plainer terms, its power powers future power. Thus, once supplied with omnium, an organ system can run in perpetuity. However, in order to keep Network synthesis, i.e. intelligence, functioning, a Bridged must dose omnium regularly.

Following the Gods’ arrival, omnium began to mutate into a substance colloquially known as “blitz.” Blitz continues to produce ouroborgesis, but with physical consequences.

Ixari and Scarring: In the upcoming Ixarus collection, which models the Bridged society following the arrival of the Gods, the blitz scar could run in a straight line or branch out depending on the omnium’s course of direction once imbibed in the body. Traditionally, omnium was culled to a “vein” that ran along the length of the spine. This new mutation functions like the roots of a tree-pursuing various paths based on gravity and movement from the wearer, and possibly neurological, behavioral cues as well. These scars are colloquially referred to as “blitz burn” for their distinct charred appearance.
