GCC wallet update - get the latest version
(Get latest version 2.3.0.0 for Windows and Linux, and 2.3.0.1 for MAC-OS)
Go to TheGCCcoin.com and click on Download.
The new GCC wallet version 2.3.0.0(1) has implemented code security fixes that required a hard-fork from the previous wallet. This means YOU NEED TO UPDATE TO IT as any transactions you make with the old wallet will not be accepted by the GCC blockchain.

- Download the latest wallet (version 2.3.0.1) to the same device you have the previous wallet on. Go to www.TheGCCcoin.com, click Download. The page will scroll down to download section.
Now, click the MAC version and then click the download button.
2. Open the application folder and remove the previous version of TheGCCcoin Qt wallet.
3. Click on “Go” and then on “Go to folder”.
4. Type “~/Library/Application Support/TheGCC/” in the console and click on “Go” button.
5. Copy the file wallet.dat to a safe place, such as external drive.
6. Remove these items from “TheGCC” folder:

database
txleveldb
files:
blk0001.dat
db.log
debug.log
peers.dat
7. Open thegcccoin.dmg file (wallet file from step 1) and drag & drop thegcccoin-Qt icon to your application folder.
8. Run the GCC wallet and wait until the wallet has synchronized with the blockchain.
Your funds and transaction history will transfer automatically to the new wallet. If you have any questions write to our support on:

- Backup your current wallet.dat file to a safe place, such as external drive. You can find the file in the wallet folder on your hard drive: YOUR CURRENT WALLET DIRECTORY/appdata%/Roaming/TheGCC.
2. When your wallet.dat file is stored safely, delete these folders and files from the same directory:

3. Download the latest wallet (version 2.3.0.0) to the same device you have the previous wallet on. Go to www.TheGCCcoin.com, click Download. The page will scroll down to download section.
Now, click the Windows version and then click the download button.
4. After you have downloaded the wallet version 2.3.0.0, extract its archive to YOUR CURRENT WALLET DIRECTORY/appdata%/Roaming/TheGCC (the same old wallet folder as in points 1 and 2 above).
5. Run you new wallet by double-clicking on TheGCCcoin-Qt file and wait until the wallet has synchronized with the blockchain.

General Update Information
Security GCC wallet update has been completed and all fixes have been successfully implemented. In cooperation with cryptocurrency exchanges we could finish this process with a COINBURN. Along with the update release, the amount of GCC in circulation decreased from 2.1B to 1.6B and the maximum supply has decreased from 2.4B to 1.8B.
Such a large security update of GCC wallet was necessary as it had not been updated for an extended period and prior to introducing new functions, security fixes had to be implemented. In the fast changing blockchain environment code fixes occur regularly, from small projects to long-established cryptocurrencies. Our cryptocurrency code had to undergo a large review before we could move forward with our plans for development. The code is now secure and ready for all the new functions we planned to equip GCC with. Together with the exchanges we could accomplish the process successfully.
