As a self-published author, I’ve learned the importance of ‘stagger’ marketing. If you do all of your advertising in the beginning, it doesn’t last too long. People will buy your book all at once and then after 2 weeks, your sales fall into a deep hole. If you spread/stagger your advertising over a period of time, your sales will continue to ‘float’, which is better than a ‘splash.’

It sounds so basic now, like “why didn’t I think of that at first?” There’s so many moving parts to learn and to keep up with the entire process is a feat within itself. But I must say, I love it and I’m doing it my way :-)
