Lets take a look at the history of the bout. Floyd Mayweather the undefeated, five-division world champion and Manny Pacquiao eight-division world champion are arguably the two best boxers the sport has seen in many years. A fight between the two today, would be the highest grossing event in the history boxing. So why hasn't it happen?

The super fight that has been in “the talks” since 2009 so they say. Could this all be apart of the marketing strategy? A marking strategy jabbing at all the boxing fans for over 5 years? Certainly it has had a some effect seeing as in 2009 the fight would have grossed nearly $300 million and as of today some say it would bring in close to 1 billion, coining it “The Billion Dollar Fight”.

We’ll never truly know why the fight didn't happen years ago, when both fighters were in their prime but it brings me to this question:
