I couldn’t possibly agree more. It’s as if all the righteous Facebook flagellation and virtue signaling vitriol turned it’s nose up and went to medium. It reads and feels akin to the keyboard race to be the first to spread the word of a deceased celebrity, or think-piece a cultural hot button. One the author is no doubt appropriating.

The titles kill me.

This place has highlighted how challenging great writing is. To my eye it’s for a couple of reasons, neither of which is new to any writer. Original content, be it a perspective or actual research, is hard to come by, and writing well enough to contextualize “artistry” within it, is nearly impossible if your belief aligns with the Medium promotion puppets who impart judgement if you don’t post every day.

Why? People don’t read.

It humors me whenever a great idea becomes a breeding ground for warning and cynicism. Each headline reads like some version of an apocalyptic warning, or “now listen here”. It’s always what teaches me to move on. It happened with the news in the early 2000’s, and New York editorials once J-Kush came of age, and the political left over the past two years.

That said, this was a well written piece, particularly for a canine stroll. I hope the dogs feel as relieved as you must after dumping this load.
