This year, I really got into the idea of self-compassion. It’s about treating myself as kindly as I would treat a good friend. I learned to not beat myself up over mistakes, to stay mindful and not drown in negative feelings, and to remember that everyone struggles and I’m not alone in this. It’s made me kinder to myself and surprisingly, it’s helped me handle tough times better. It’s been a game changer for me, and I’m excited to keep this up.
